i guess beef's can be used as inspiration for other rappers to step up their game, so yeah it's important to hip-hop...it's been that way since the beginning, i just think they shouldn't let it get too out of hand like the "east coast/ west coast" thing. that shit was stupid! i mean, i liked Biggie at that time and it's stupid to fuck with someone else because of what someone put on wax.
